About the Role
Skywalk Group is seeking an experienced Procurement & Planning Manager to join its team in Hampshire, IL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of supply chain strategies that drive business growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Lead a cross-functional team to negotiate with suppliers, manage contracts, and coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform sourcing decisions and drive cost savings.
- Collaborate with sales, finance, and production teams to balance demand and inventory.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing procurement, including expertise in purchasing, pricing negotiations, vendor management, production planning, and team leadership.
- 4 years of experience in the animal health and food grade industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
