We are excited to partner with an innovative medical device company in search of a Clinical Specialist. Our client offers a cutting-edge, minimally invasive product used in neurosurgery. In this role, the Clinical Specialist will provide training and on-site case support within their territory.
The ideal candidate will be located within easy driving distance of Chicago, Illinois. They will cover 2-3 cases per week, traveling to hospitals, including some required overnight hotel stays. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company making a significant impact in the medical field.
Total compensation: $115-120k car allowance
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical expertise and support for the product at customer sites.
- Build strong relationships with doctors, nurses, and technologists.
- Train and evaluate customers' technical understanding of products post-implementation.
- Assist with new site qualifications, installations, and product service.
- Document and report case outcomes, product performance, and best practices.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree (4 years), ideally in Engineering, Biology, or Medical Technology/Medical Imaging. Could come from nursing with strong OR experience.
- Hands-on experience in a hospital Operating Room, Cath Lab, or MRI department, with a background in training and supporting medical devices.
- Ideal candidate will have a strong sense of urgency, strategic thinking, and the ability to meet objectives in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibits flexibility and resourcefulness in achieving goals.
- Must have the technical aptitude to quickly become an expert in company software applications and key external vendor platforms.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, good driving record, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Willingness to travel up to 70% within the assigned North American geography.
