Description
Test Engineering Manager
Located in Hillsboro, Oregon our team is actively seeking an ATE Test Engineering Manager to lead the test development of the Wireless products from prototype to production. As a hands-on leader, you will manage the development of cutting edge mixed-signal system on chips (SoCs) wireless applications spanning smart speakers and microphones, wired/wireless headsets, and intelligent gaming controllers. Responsibilities
- Ability to collaborate with design, characterization, and product engineers in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Team player with strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management skills and ability to multi-task
- Ensure adequate test coverage based on product requirements
- Develop tests that are self-contained, well documented, maintainable, and reusable
- Participate in test data analysis and ensure accuracy and repeatability of test coverage

Required Experience and Skills
- Fifteen 15 years of test development experience including both wafer probe and final test
- Demonstrated success in a project lead or team leadership role
- Ability to influence direct reports, peers, customers and vendors
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, etc.)
- Mixed-signal product design experience and root cause analysis.
- Test development experience with analog, digital and RF.
- Experience with semiconductor ATE testers
- Familiarity with data communication protocols
- Proficiency with software/hardware integration including calibration, correlation, and debug
- Ability to automate test routines and debug with external equipment (audio precision, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters)
- PCB Design, schematic capture and layout experience with Cadence Allegro
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $126,500 - $241,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
