Are you an experienced Superintendent, have Industrial/Commercial Construction experience, and want to work for a nationally recognized General Contractor? If so, please apply. This is NOT a travel superintendent position, but candidates will need to be comfortable with some travel as required to manage their projects. Candidates must be located in the Baltimore or surround areas, or plan to move to the DMV area soon.
Seeking Assistant, Area, Lead, and Senior Superintendents.
Requirements:
- Experience as a field superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor managing projects of varying complexity and size.
- Experience with large-scale projects is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 full-cycle/completed projects preferred.
- Demonstrate integrity and honesty and model ethical behavior.
- Bachelors in Construction Management or similar concentration a plus
Responsibilities:
- Develop an initial project schedule and budget and communicates sequence and schedule updates to all subcontractors and vendors.
- Provides field team leadership and communication and coordinates all daily construction activities.
- Develops material handling and site utilization plans for assigned scope of work.
- Coordinates with engineers on material needs, RFIs, etc.
- Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces a project specific security, quality assurance and workmanship program to include all subcontractors.
- Schedules and directs day-to-day construction activities to ensure timely completion in accordance with plans and specs.
- Possesses working knowledge of all project plans, specifications, contract with Owner, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, shop drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents and maintains a complete and accurate set of as-builts.
- In coordination with the Project Manager, develops general conditions budget, and through labor cost reporting manages and controls the budget.
- Reviews shop drawings for conformance to project documents.
- Coordinates and monitors the completion of the construction punch list.
- Maintains positive relationships with the owner, architect, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, municipal authorities, and company personnel involved with the project.
Salary : $100,000 - $135,000
