What You’ll Do
The Director of Procure to Pay (P2P) is responsible for overseeing the entire procure-to-pay process, ensuring efficient and effective procurement, accounts payable, and vendor management operations. This role requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of procurement and payables processes, financial controls, and compliance. The Director will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the P2P cycle and create efficiencies, drive cost savings and limit risk in supplier contracts, and enhance supplier relationships.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range is $158,000 to $206,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, accounts payable, or related fields, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement and accounts payable processes, financial controls, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Proficiency in procurement and financial software systems.
- Evolve the P2P strategy aligned with the company's financial goals and objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the P2P team, including Procurement and Accounts Payable, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align procurement and payment processes with overall business strategy.
- Oversee the procurement process, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies in the procurement process.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments of suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely and effective manner.
- Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with financial policies.
- Monitor and analyze accounts payable metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities and lead initiatives to leverage technology to streamline and automate P2P processes.
- Identify and implement best practices and process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in P2P technology and practices.
