IAM Capability Leader
What You’ll Do
As the IAM Capability Leader, you will define the strategic vision and mission for our Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability. You’ll lead architecture, engineering, and delivery teams focused on building secure, scalable IAM solutions across Cloud-Native, Hybrid, and Multi-Cloud environments for both Customer (CIAM) and Workforce Identity use cases. Internal title will be Senior Principal.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for NY and NJ is $153,000 to $237,000. For Portland it is $170,000-217,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

IAM Capability Leader
What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities
- Set direction for the IAM capability, driving innovation and alignment across enterprise and cloud security domains.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable IAM design patterns and reference architectures for authentication and authorization.
- Assess security risks and create IAM solutions that align with compliance standards including FedRAMP, SOC 2, SOX, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and HIPAA.
- Support Go-To-Market (GTM) initiatives, collaborating with internal stakeholders and Slalom’s global/regional Cybersecurity & Privacy leadership.
- Develop enterprise-grade architectures that balance immediate needs with long-term scalability, reuse, and policy alignment.
- Lead gap assessments, remediation planning, roadmap development, and execution for client IAM transformations.
- Build and lead solution teams to develop accelerators and reusable assets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, articulating the business value of strong identity and security practices.
- Contribute to the creation and curation of Slalom’s security best practices and knowledge assets.
- 10 years of deep experience in IAM security, with a strong foundation in IT and Cloud security architecture.
- Proven leadership in managing revenue and growth for capability areas.
- Strong expertise in directory services, SSO, identity federation, MFA, privileged access management (PAM), identity governance and administration (IGA), and CIAM platforms.
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Okta, Auth0, CyberArk, ForgeRock, HashiCorp Vault, Saviynt, SailPoint, Azure AD, AWS IAM, AWS KMS, AWS Secrets Manager, OIM, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and more.
- Ability to guide stakeholders, align security architecture with business goals, and drive adoption of modern IAM frameworks across complex environments.
