As the Senior Director of Content and Storytelling, you will be a key member of our global marketing team, working alongside designers, marketers, demand generation experts, and more to create a unified and impactful content strategy. You will lead a team of writers, storytellers, and copywriters, ensuring that all content efforts are cohesive and aligned with business goals. In addition to driving storytelling across digital platforms, you will be responsible for content development for solutions and services, shaping the messaging that supports Slalom’s offerings and ensures our brand is represented effectively. You will also collaborate with leadership stakeholders across the organization to create content that enhances engagement and drives business growth.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the targeted base salary pay range is $210,000 to $240,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive content and storytelling strategy that supports Slalom’s business goals, elevates our brand, and drives engagement across all channels, including the website and social media platforms.
- Ensure content is aligned with Slalom's marketing priorities, business objectives, and brand voice across digital and print channels.
- Oversee the development of content for solutions and services, ensuring clear and impactful messaging that communicates the value of Slalom’s offerings.
- Continuously refine the content strategy to address evolving market trends, audience needs, and business goals.
- Balance long-form, thought leadership content with shorter, demand-focused pieces that drive engagement and awareness.
- Create high-impact storytelling across multiple platforms (digital, print, video, events, etc.), ensuring consistency and alignment with our brand’s purpose and values.
- Develop compelling narratives that highlight Slalom’s expertise, showcase client successes, and emphasize our human-centered approach to consulting and technology solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of writers, storytellers, and copywriters, providing guidance, career development, and feedback to ensure high performance.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the content team, encouraging new ideas and creative approaches to storytelling.
- Oversee content creation and ensure the team delivers high-quality work that resonates with target audiences.
- Encourage scalable content practices by exploring templates and AI tools where they support efficiency without sacrificing creativity.
- Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, design, and business teams to integrate storytelling into broader marketing and business strategies.
- Partner with external agencies and internal stakeholders to produce content that enhances brand perception and supports business goals.
- Monitor content performance across all channels, using data-driven insights to inform strategy and optimize content for effectiveness and engagement.
- Implement KPIs and metrics to assess content impact, engagement, and ROI, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives.
- Drive engagement by developing content that resonates with key audiences and supports measurable growth across platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executives, clients, and partners.
- Ensure content governance is maintained across the organization, promoting consistency, compliance, and high standards.
- Proven experience in content strategy, storytelling, and leadership in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
- Creative vision and a passion for developing narratives that engage audiences and elevate brands.
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage relationships and drive collaborative content efforts.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership, mentoring, and development.

- Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, and content distribution across multiple platforms.
- Familiarity with content management platforms, analytics tools, and AI solutions to streamline operations and measure content performance effectively.
