Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety of all patrons at our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills, a commitment to maintaining a safe environment, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pool activities, enforce safety rules, and provide excellent guest services while maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the pool area.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform rescues and administer first aid or CPR as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area for cleanliness and safety hazards.
- Assist with pool maintenance tasks, including cleaning and chemical balancing.
- Provide exceptional guest services by answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on lifesaving techniques and emergency procedures.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool maintenance equipment.
Qualifications
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues in water.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; Lifeguard certification preferred.
- Experience in guest services is a plus.
- Knowledge of pool maintenance practices is desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment handling.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends.
