Job Overview:
SlapShelton Neuropsychology Group has an immediate opening for a Neuropsychological Testing Assistant to assist in providing neuropsychological evaluations to a variety of clients. This job is for 32 to 38 hours a week. Training will be provided. The person seeking this job must have a four (4) year college degree and a strong interest in psychology as well as excellent interpersonal skills. This position also involves office administration including scheduling, communicating with clients, and other office tasks. Strong orientation to detail, strong organization skills as well as familiarity and facility in working with Excel and other computer software is a must. This is a great job for the individual who are considering pursuing graduate level study in the the field of psychology. However, Master's level psychologists are also invited to apply. This is an in office job and NOT a virtual position.
Responsibilities:
- Administer psychological tests to clients according to standardized methods and protocols
- Score psychological tests and create graphs with test data
- Maintain and order testing supplies
- Work with excel based waitlist and with office EMR
- Record and communicate phone messages
- Assist with scheduling
- Assist with practice duties as needed.
- Use Google Suite applications for office tasks.
Experience:
- 4 year college degree or higher degree.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Excellent organizational abilities to handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in communicating by telephone and email in a professional manner.
- Comfortable working with computerized systems and databases.
- Proficiency in using Google Suite for office productivity.
