What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material handler position at SLB?
The Facility Materials Handler position covers the waste processes within the Center, assists with waste management, completes audits and inspections of waste areas & waste accumulation areas.
This position requires a forklift operation, manual handling and an awareness of the SLB Environmental Management System.
This position interacts with the core functions on site and the waste vendors to ensure we have a compliant waste management system in place and maintains a safe working area in the waste collection and storage areas and manages the internal processes of waste being moved from work areas to the waste collection points.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage waste processes on site
- Sign Waste Manifests
- Audit / Inspect the waste areas, waste accumulation areas.
- Collate waste disposal and recycling data each month.
- Generate and maintain contacts and working relationship with the waste vendors.
- Assist in waste minimization programs.
- Manage the Emergency Response Equipment for Spills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driving license
- Forklift Certification
