">Job SummaryWe hire talented, driven people and support them to succeed, personally and professionally. The Second Shift Assembler will assemble and test valves and components, partially or completely. Typically requires 2-5 years experience in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates a proven working knowledge of various assembling/testing principles.
- Solves basic problems with assistance, recognizing issues in the assembling/testing process and reporting to appropriate supervisors and/or lead persons in a timely manner.
- Uses proper pressure gauges, chart recorders, and tools for valve assembly and testing.
- Understands assembly drawings, SPs, QPs, work instructions, and tools/equipment needed for assembly operations with minimal assistance.
- Performs internal stenciling and/or marking for required traceability purposes.
- Familiar with computer systems to retrieve relevant work documents, such as engineering drawings, routings, and other documents related to assembly and testing of valves or related products.
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of safety policies and procedures (Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Quest, etc.). Operates overhead crane and other capacity lifting equipment (forklift) safely.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives and programs.
- Effectively communicates and works with customers during witness processes to ensure customer compliance.
- Provides informal guidance and support to new team members.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Preference for one-year certificate from technical school/college.
- Requires 2 years experience in a related field.
- Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
