Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry professional local to Oakley, KS to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests. Your responsibilities will include performing housekeeping duties as well as managing laundry operations to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to ensure a pristine environment.
- Manage laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing to meet health and safety standards.
- Assist with floor care tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces.
- Collaborate with Front Desk to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with custodial or industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
