What are the responsibilities and job description for the Room Attendant/Housekeeping position at Sleep Inn and Suites/Mainstay Suites of Waukee?
Room Attendant
*Must be willing to Work weekends as well!
Duties:
- Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards
- Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock amenities
- Vacuum carpets and dust furniture
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, showers, and sinks
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor
- Follow all safety and security procedures while on duty
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests
Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping management is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members
