Maintenance Technician

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Sleep Inn and MainStay Suites. As a crucial member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our hotel facilities to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our guests and staff.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, HVAC maintenance, plumbing repairs, and electrical fixes.

- Respond promptly to guest requests and complaints concerning maintenance issues.

- Conduct inspections of hotel facilities to identify and address potential issues.

- Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Assist with special projects as needed, including renovations and upgrades.

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in a hospitality setting preferred.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance skills.

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Available for on call emergencies

- Able to work in fast paced work environment and prioritize tasks with management

- Team player and great attitude as must work with every department closely daily

- Adheres to all procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook and is a proactive team member with guest's and team's health and safety a priority.
