Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of equipment and facilities through regular maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become significant problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience in a maintenance role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Experience with logic controllers and welding is a plus.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A logical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting is essential.
