We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks simultaneously.
### Duties:
- Greet guests and provide them with a warm welcome
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Assist guests with reservations, room assignments, and special requests
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Process guest payments and ensure billing accuracy
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Perform night audit duties, including reconciling daily transactions and preparing reports
- Address guest concerns or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure smooth operations
### Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or front desk role preferred
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and phone systems
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
