Duties
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles, including buses and limousines, to transport passengers as scheduled.
- Ensure the vehicle is well-maintained and perform routine inspections to identify any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding schedules, routes, and any changes in service.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness of the shuttle vehicle both inside and out.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns promptly.
Skills
- Proven experience in bus driving or shuttle driving is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with passengers and team members.
- Experience in school bus driving or paratransit services is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while providing outstanding customer service.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
