As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) our Skilled Nursing Facility in Fairfield, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality resident care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. You will play a crucial role in monitoring residents' health, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities, ensuring that each resident receives personalized attention and support. Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid LVN license in the state of CT.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in long-term care or rehabilitation.
- Certification in IV therapy or wound care.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record residents' vital signs and health status.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members regarding care plans and resident progress.
- Maintain accurate resident records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
