Direct Support Professional / Personal Care Attendant
Full Job Description:
@Southwest Louisiana Independence Center is currently seeking a caregiver to work with a male individual who has physical disabilities in Youngsville. The Direct Support Professional is responsible for the physical care of our clients who may no longer be able to take care of themselves due to age, illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
The ideal candidate must be able to care for our clients and their property with dignity, patience, compassion, and respect.

Qualifications:
1. Must be 18 years of age or older.
2. Valid Driver’s License & auto insurance
3. Working Cell Phone with Data Plan
4. Able to lift 25 Pounds (He is in a wheelchair that breaks down.)
5. Low sitting Car for him to transfer in and out of.
6. Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report.
Responsibilities:
1. Light Housekeeping
2. Transportation to work & or gym
3. Assist with Shopping
4. Assist with Cooking
Pay:
Starting at $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
Sunday: 8am-1pm
Monday: 8am -5pm
Tuesday: 8am-1pm
Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday-8am-1pm
Friday: 8am-1pm
