Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire Assemblers (1st or 2nd shift). The Assemblers prepare machines for production by positioning guides and rolls, operates and monitors bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, and adjusts controls to regulate machining.
Job Location: Bartlesville, OK
Pay Rate: Depending on shift:
- 1st Shift: $18.00 / hour
- 2nd Shift: $20.00 / hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (this includes overtime which will be paid at time-and-a-half)
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (this includes overtime which will be paid at time-and-a-half)
Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing machine for production by positioning, guides, and rolls
- Operate and monitor bobbin winders
- Set up and operate bobbin winders according to manufacturing specifications, following detailed instructions accurately
- String wire through bobbin winders, adjust counter to necessary footage
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Follow safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Requirements:
- Able to read and follow work instructions
- Must have good hand-eye coordination
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred
- Must be able to stand for long periods to perform the work
- This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement.
