Global oilfield services company is seeking to immediately hire Oilfield Assemblers (1st and 2nd shift). The Pump Assemblers assemble downhole pumps used by oilfield companies for the extraction of oil/gas.
Job Location: Bartlesville, OK
Pay Rate:
- 1st shift: $18.00 / hour
- 2nd Shift: $20.00 / hour
Schedule:
- 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (this includes overtime which will be paid at time-and-a-half)
- 2nd Shift Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (this includes overtime which will be paid at time-and-a-half)
Position type: Contract-to-hire. Conversion to permanent employee is possible after 3-4 month initial period, depending on worker performance.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and equipment according to plans and technical specifications.
- Use manual and power tools to perform assembly operations with precision.
- Verify the conformity of parts and assemblies with established specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address assembly issues and propose improvements.
- Follow safety procedures and work protocols to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Participate in training new employees and in the continuous improvement of assembly processes.
Requirements:
- Must be able to stand to perform the required work for 10 hours daily.
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the oilfield or manufacturing sector.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and assembly diagrams. Proficiency in using manual and power tools for assembly.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision to ensure assembly quality.
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in priorities and tasks in a dynamic environment
- Must be physically able to lift heavy items (may be up to 50 lbs.) above and below shoulder height, and perform continuous standing, walking, reaching, and bending
- Must be able to stand for long periods to perform the work
- This company has a very comprehensive drug testing requirement. Failure to pass the drug tests will result in the job offer being cancelled, and you will never be able to work for this company in the future.
