Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food items and drink specials, to provide recommendations to customers.
- Operate the Aloha POS system for processing orders and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the bar area.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal requirements regarding alcohol service.
- Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items ordered from the bar.
Skills
- Proven experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and handling financial transactions accurately.
- Understanding of food safety practices within the food service industry.
- Sales skills to promote drink specials and upsell menu items effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed in a collaborative environment.
