What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Product Owner position at Slingshot Aerospace?
What You'll Do :
As Product Owner at Slingshot Aerospace, you will be one of the core drivers of software planning, implementation, delivery, and management. You will work with our cross-functional teams, including UI / UX Designers, Product Managers, Scientist, Engineers and Business Stakeholders, to ensure rapid progress and development of our products. You will be the driving force behind our Agile delivery process, working closely with product managers to set priorities and helping to distill and refine the product strategy. Your role will ensure seamless coordination between teams and alignment of project execution with long-term business goals. Responsibilities :
- Communicate objectives, priorities, progress, accomplishments, changes, and impediments, clearly and consistently to remove blockers and avoid confusion across team members, stakeholders and management
- Partner, negotiate, and collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders and decision makers to continuously stay aligned with the current business / program objectives and priorities
- Help define and document the timeline of milestones, and identify / address dependencies pertaining to the deliverables
- Support product backlog grooming and ensure organization at all times
- Schedule and facilitate cross-functional team meetings including the standard scrum rituals
- Provide metrics and reports on project progress regularly
- Enable scoping, planning, and estimation efforts
- Support staffing utilization management to advance productivity and work-life balance of the team members
- Identify, analyze, mitigate and proactively respond to project, financial and operational risks
- Help foster a work culture that recognizes and supports individual differences in work-styles, personalities, cultures and values to maximize team's potential
- Optimize the existing tools / processes or propose new ones to ensure effective execution of projects by distributed teams
