What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Reporting Technician position at Slipstream Environmental Services LLC?
Reporting Technician role will create and deliver emission test reports from data collected by mobile laboratories. Reporting role includes manual data validation to ASTM processes, use of in house report generating software and quality control process of comparing results to applicable permit documents. Role also include submitting report and protocol data to state and federal database systems. Job can be performed partially remote. Preference is to have at least some time in Sheridan, WY office.
Key Accountabilities
· Review test data and test logs, review emission calculations, discuss data with field crew, and process test logs.
· Utilize test data, photos, regulatory permits, client correspondence, and Slipstream's report generation solution to develop emission test reports.
· Compile various test reports dependent on regulatory and client requirements. Generate electronic copies and add applicable data to reports.
· Review test reports for accuracy, and grammatical errors.
· Coordinate with Project Manager to review and sign reports.
· If necessary, produce physical copies of reports and submit to regulatory agencies and clients.
· Make recommendations and provide feedback on report templates, and content.
Job Requirements
· Possess exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
· Must have a technical background and strong mathematical skills.
· Must be a self-starter with strong initiative and can complete work with minimal supervision.
· Must have experience in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Database experience is a plus.
· Demonstrate ability to take initiative and responsibility beyond the minimum requirements of a job.
· Demonstrate ability to be flexible and solve problems.
Basic Qualifications
· 0-2 years of professional experience in an Administrative or Technical role
Desirable Qualifications
· Flexible and proactive problem solver adept at achieving results in a team-oriented and collaborative environment, but also able to function effectively working independently
· Ideal candidate will have bachelor's degree from an accredited school in Science, Mathematics, or related field
· Proactive, enthusiastic, and willing to grow professionally

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
