Duties and Responsibilities :
- Utilizes proprietary stains to develop optimized H&E protocols on customer submitted.
- Optimization, protocol development, and troubleshooting manual, semi-automated, and automated IHC stains.
- Provides technical support including troubleshooting H&E, special stains, IHC, and preanalytical processes to customers and internal and external StatLab staff.
- Provides technical support including product suggestions and assistance to customers and internal and external StatLab staff.
- Efficiently and accurately cuts and stains control slides.
- Reviews control slides for QC acceptance.
- Provides assistance with QC procedures including functionality testing.
- Participates in and presents continuing education to StatLab customers and staff.
- Supports research to develop new prototype products with instruction from manager.
- Assists with some offsite H&E or IHC troubleshooting and optimizations.
- Develops positive relationships with StatLab customers and staff.
- Provides suggestions for process or product improvements, new products, continuous improvement, and refinements to manufacturing processes.
- Responds to customers / staff concerns / questions in a timely manner.
- Demonstrates independent thinking and initiative on a consistent and regular basis.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgment on significant matters.
- Performs in a manner consistent with company Core Values.
- Attends all scheduled meetings, missing no more than 10% annually.
- Manages any stress on the job, including but not limited to meeting deadlines.
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Follows all OSHA and other safety guidelines.
- Actively demonstrates teamwork at all times.
- Adheres to company safety standards at all times, such that no serious (requiring medical attention) injury occurred during the prior 12-month period.

This is a Salaried / Exempt Position : Pay Range $66,000-$80,000 plus 5% annual bonus potential.
This is an in office- onsite position.
