Full Job Description:
D3S Sloan Holdco, South Carolina's largest appliance service provider, is seeking skilled and mechanically inclined Appliance Repair Technicians. As part of our team, you will provide in-home repair services for large household appliances, diagnose and fix issues, and ensure customer satisfaction through expert service and excellent communication.

We've earned national awards from Whirlpool, Angie's List, Lowe's, and The State Newspaper for our excellence in customer service. Sloan Appliance is currently expanding and looking for talented, mechanically inclined, and customer service focus technicians who are ready to grow with us.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Diagnose and repair large household appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, laundry machines, gas and electric stoves, and dryers.
- Work safely: Handle gas shut-offs, electricity, and ventilation systems carefully.
- Test and replace boards and other appliance components.
- Provide exceptional customer service: Work in customers' homes in a tidy and orderly manner, maintaining a professional appearance.
- Explain repairs to customers in clear, understandable terms.
- Manage inventory: Ensure accurate stock of parts and tools in your service vehicle.
- Collaborate with office staff and fellow technicians to ensure efficient service.
- Self-starter: Work independently and efficiently to manage multiple jobs in a day.
- Visit 5-10 jobs a day: Increase earning potential by visiting multiple homes efficiently.
- Earn bonuses for positive feedback from customers.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- High School diploma or technical school degree, or equivalent.
- 2-4 years of experience in appliance repair or maintenance.
- Valid South Carolina driver's license.
- CFC Certification or willingness to obtain it within a reasonable time frame.
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proven stable work history and experience reading wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Flexibility to work variable hours, including overtime when required.
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
