Position Summary
The Concrete Foreman’s primary responsibility is to support the Superintendent and Project Manager in the successful completion of assigned projects.As a concrete foreman, you will be responsible for leading and supervising concrete construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Your role involves managing a team of concrete workers and subcontractors, interpreting blueprints and specifications, scheduling tasks, ordering materials, and coordinating with other trades on-site. You will enforce quality standards, monitor progress, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the construction process. Your expertise in concrete pouring, finishing, and curing will be essential in achieving project goals while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance. Travel will be required as necessary.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate activitiespertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing and curing
- Ensure that formwork is erected and supporeted in a safe and effective manner
- Resolve problems that may affect project quality and completion
- Inspect concrete finish upon removal of forms and correct any defects to required standards
- Ensure standards of quality and safety are adhered to the project team and subcontractors
- Work collaboratively with Project Manager, project team members,and field personnel
- Coordinate tasks and schedules for crew members
- Supervise workers throughout the shift, ensuring safety, performingproper work stop authority, and organization
- Resolve problems with projects, materials, and workers as they arise
- At least5 years of provenconstruction experience, experience as a concrete foreman,experience in a leadership or supervisory role
- ACI finishing certificate desired, but not required
- Detailed knowledge of concrete construction procedures and OSHA guidelines
- Experience with blueprint reading, concrete finishing, and managing crews
- Leadership and team buildingskills
- Organizational and time management abilities

- Good communication and interpersonal skills

The Concrete Foreman is regularly required to:
- Work primarily on construction sites, which may involve outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Physical demands include standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Talk and hear at normal levels
- See with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus
- Reach with hands and arms
- Use hands and fingers to operate tools and machinery
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Complete Layout from either survey or plans.
- Set elevations from plans or given elevations from survey
- Assist Project managers with RFI’s and propose new field direction/plan to complete scope.
- Able to lead employees and subcontractors.
- Ability to multitask
