We manufacture water-efficient products including flush valves, electronic faucets, soap dispensing and sink systems along with vitreous china fixtures for commercial, industrial and institutional markets worldwide.
Sloan has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineer in our Andover, MA facility. In this role you will o develop, maintain, and specify manufacturing processes to manufacture the company's electronic product lines.
Responsibilities include :
- Determine and establish overall manufacturing engineering requirements for items such as machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods and processes, and routings.
- Support shop floor personnel in trouble-shooting process and / or quality problems.
- Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings and establish feeds, speeds, cycle times and other operating parameters for all types of equipment.
- Recommend, justify, and implement the installation of new equipment and processes.
- Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to increase efficiency using LEAN manufacturing techniques.
- Assist in the design of products to develop "Design for Manufacturing" parts and processes.
- Identify and implement cost reductions through plant manufacturing operations.
