We are looking for an administrative assistant for the business office in a medical practice.
This person will be responsible for various administrative tasks in the business office including, but not limited to, printing medical records and mailing insurance claims, scanning EOB's and other correspondence, monitoring the business office fax queue, checking voicemail, daily reconciliation, mailing of appeals and other clerical tasks as assigned. This is an excellent opportunity to get an introduction into the world of medical billing. This position will have the opportunity to be involved in several processes in the business office. This is an entry level position and as such, only basic office experience is necessary, such as using email, copier, fax machine, etc. The ability to multitask, the desire to learn new things and change gears quickly is very important, as well as the ability to work independently but as a part of a much larger team. This is an in office position. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
