Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorneys to handle personal injury cases in Idaho Falls, ID. This role involves managing a caseload of litigation matters, providing top-tier legal representation to clients, and preparing cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law with proven litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Handle a caseload of personal injury litigation matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.
- Litigation: Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Conduct depositions, represent clients in court hearings, and prepare cases for trial.
- Trial Preparation: Collaborate with assigned legal assistance to develop case strategies and prepare for trial, including witness preparation and evidence presentation.
- Legal Research and Writing: Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and memoranda.
- Client Relations: Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates, set expectations, and guide them through the litigation process.
- Settlement Negotiations: Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, ensuring that outcomes align with clients’ best interests.
- Jurisdictional Compliance: Ensure all filings, pleadings, and court submissions comply with the procedural rules of Maryland, D.C., and Virginia courts.
Qualifications and Skills
- Licenses: Must be currently licensed to practice law in the state of Idaho.
- Experience: 2-3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Litigation Expertise: Strong knowledge of personal injury law, with demonstrated experience in all phases of litigation, including trials.
- Client Focus: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized and able to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable settlements.
