We are inviting experienced motivated professionals with a positive attitude to apply!Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to handle personal injury cases in Maryland, D.C., and Virginia. This role involves managing a caseload of litigation matters, providing top-tier legal representation to clients, and preparing cases for trial. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law with proven litigation experience in ideally all three jurisdictions, but at least one to include either : Maryland, D.C. or Virginia. The position will be in-office based in our Washington, D.C. or Baltimore MD office.Key ResponsibilitiesCase Management : Handle a caseload of personal injury litigation matters, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death cases.Litigation : Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses. Conduct depositions, represent clients in court hearings, and prepare cases for trial.Trial Preparation : Collaborate with assigned legal assistance to develop case strategies and prepare for trial, including witness preparation and evidence presentation.Legal Research and Writing : Conduct legal research and draft briefs, motions, and memoranda.Client Relations : Maintain regular communication with clients to provide case updates, set expectations, and guide them through the litigation process.Settlement Negotiations : Engage in settlement negotiations with opposing counsel, ensuring that outcomes align with clients’ best interests.Jurisdictional Compliance : Ensure all filings, pleadings, and court submissions comply with the procedural rules of Maryland, D.C., and Virginia courts.Qualifications and SkillsLicenses : Must be licensed to practice law in Maryland, and / or D.C. and / or Virginia.
