Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys with various litigation tasks, ensuring that all documentation is prepared accurately and efficiently. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must have at least 3 years experience as a litigation paralegal. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with experience, plus additional benefits. Our firm is located in Mt. Responsibilities
- Docketing court hearings and deadlines.
- Scheduling depositions and mediations.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings.
- Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and organized.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information for cases.
- Utilize Clio for case management and billing purposes.
- Perform document review and analysis to identify relevant information for litigation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal procedures and requirements related to litigation.
Skills
- Proficient in legal administrative tasks with a strong understanding of litigation processes.
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
- Strong proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all written materials.
- Experience with document review processes in a litigation context.
- Familiarity with estate planning concepts is a plus.
- Strong research skills to effectively gather information from various sources.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
