The Front Desk Associate for a homecare agency is the first point of contact for clients, caregivers, and visitors. This role involves managing inquiries, performing administrative duties to ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and compassionate, with excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities;
  • Greet and assist clients, caregivers, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, responding to inquiries about services or connecting callers to appropriate staff.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate caregiver shifts or consultations.
  • Maintain and update client and caregiver records in the agency's system.
  • Handle routine correspondence, emails, and paperwork.
  • Ensure the front desk and reception area are clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Address minor concerns or complaints, escalating issues to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Collect and process payments or invoices, as applicable.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines when handling client information.

Requirements :

  • Strong customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office management tools.
  • Experience in scheduling or coordinating shifts is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Prior experience in healthcare or homecare is preferred but not required
