What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Project Coordinator (Revit Technician) position at SMA architecture + interiors?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with the Program Manager to ensure the participation of cross-functional stakeholders in furthering project goals. Heavily focused on production of construction drawings and interior plans. With organization and prioritization skills, this candidate will organize the necessary pieces to ensure project success.
Responsibilities
- Work with Program Manager to develop, drive, and implement project goals
- Manage communications and deliverables from all stakeholders for project (MEP, client, design/build contractors)
- Responsible for the set up, production, and coordination of construction documents using good Revit practices based on established company and industry standards and applicable codes.
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- A minimum of 5 years combined drafting and modeling experience using Revit and design experience in an architectural office.
- Requires proficiency in Revit, ADA requirements, and a basic knowledge of building construction and Bluebeam Revu.
- Strong skills in communication both written and verbal, prioritization, teamwork, problem solving, and a strong attention to detail while working efficiently and accurately.
- Asks questions, is growth minded, strives for excellence, works well with a team, and demonstrates integrity in words and actions.
- Maintains a high level of personal quality control standards in project documentation. With attention to detail and quick identification of errors.
