Hiring Data Governance Architect
Work Environment: * This position offers a hybrid work arrangement. * The role is based in either Philadelphia, PA, or Washington, DC
Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Architect with a strong background in data management and governance frameworks.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience working with Databricks and a proven ability to engage with clients effectively.
This role is critical in ensuring the integrity, quality, and security of data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the proposed platform meets compliance, security, and data privacy requirements.
- Collaborate with the Data Platform Architect to ensure proper data access, sharing, and management across the platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance strategies and best practices.
- Provide guidance on best practices for data preparation, exploration, and visualization within the platform
. * Monitor and enforce data governance policies, including financial governance, PII data management, and secure data sharing.
- Utilize Databricks for data processing, analytics, and governance activities.
- Facilitate client-facing discussions to understand their data governance needs and challenges.
- Conduct assessments of data quality and compliance with governance policies.
- Provide recommendations for improvements in data management and governance processes.
- Create and maintain documentation for data governance initiatives.
- Train and mentor team members on data governance principles and tools.
- Provide client-facing support, ensuring clear communication and understanding of technical solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with Databricks
. * Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. * In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
- Proficiency in data management and analytics tools
. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
