What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Accounts Receivable Clerk position at Small Business Accounting Tax & Bookkeeping?
Small Business Accounting Tax & Bookkeeping works with businesses, organizations and entrepreneurs to help them navigate their business and plan for the future. We are seeking a proactive and self-motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our office in the Phoenix area.
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
What you will be doing:
- Post invoices based on pricing structure
- Accounts Receivable Collections
- Post checks to accounts as per remittances
- Process Credit Card Payments
- Update jobs in project management system upon invoicing and payment
- Reconcile account discrepancies, refunds etc.
- Assist with various month end reports
- Set up new accounts
- Additional tasks as assigned by Controller
What we are looking for:
- Minimum of 3 or more years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and consistency
- Strong Organizational skills
- Excellent research skills and the ability to dig into the details
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work in multiple companies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
- Proficiency with Quickbooks (preferred)
