LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an aviation company in West Phoenix. This company is in search of an AR Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This job is slated for six months, but does have potential to become permanent for the perfect candidate. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an aviation company in West Phoenix. This company is in search of an AR Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis. This job is slated for six months, but does have potential to become permanent for the perfect candidate. This role is fully in office, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
The ideal candidate will have strong B2B collections experience and a passion for working in the aviation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and cash applications.
- Perform B2B collections by following up with clients on outstanding payments, negotiating payment terms, and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records of payments and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and customer service, to resolve billing issues and ensure timely payments.
- Process credit memos and refunds as needed.
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue invoices and initiate appropriate follow-up actions.
- Assist in generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly accounts receivable reports.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service to clients regarding account inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, specifically in B2B collections.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Experience working with accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of aviation industry terminology and practices is a plus but not required.
