The Director of Human Resources works closely with the management team to develop and implement human resources policies and procedures that support the organization's goals and objectives and comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide advice and assistance to managers and supervisors on human resources issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in human resources and ensure that the organization follows the best practices and standards in the field.
- Manage the full life cycle of an employee
- Compliance
- Training and development
- Culture and morale
- Other activities include: active participant in the budget writing process, HIPAA compliance, succession planning and developing an internship program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification or comparable human resources coursework preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire, influence others and resolve conflicts.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively.
