POSITION PURPOSEThis position is a key contributor to the company strategy and the marketing services we provide to clients. It is a very specific blend of industry knowledge, agency experience managing multiple clients and knowledge in an extensive reach of marketing activities. The right fit for the position is a LEADER, MANAGER, AND EXECUTER. This is a very hands-on position, blended with the guidance of a team and helping to manage priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSTeam management
- Hands-on management with marketing department team members.
- In-depth knowledge of individual project workload, project status, and individual goals.
- Marketing workload management and leadership.
- Team 1:1’s with goal tracking and professional development plans.
- Project reviews and reporting collaboration with the Operations team.
Client Account Management
- Act as a strategist for client accounts.
- Management of high-level client accounts.
- Frequent client interface and communication with progress reports and project status updates.
- Collaboration cross-departmentally to communicate client vision and drive projects forward.
- PR and media management oversight.
- Management of PR team workload; hands-on execution as needed.
- Lead annual media buy management with both clients and publications.
- Monthly ad performance reports with strategy on client direction.
- Client and internal awards tracking with PR team; assist on submissions as needed.
Strategic Service Execution
- Lead, execute, and collaborate on strategic services, including, but not limited to: Marketing plans, Social media strategy, Client surveys, Digital marketing strategy, Brand journey, Campaign creation.
Internal Marketing
- Lead, execute and collaborate on internal SG marketing plan.
- Oversight of PR efforts, awards tracking, event planning, social media, campaign creation, SME positioning, etc.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE- A minimum of 10 years of marketing experience (traditional and digital preferred).
- Experience managing a team.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in marketing, journalism or mass communication.
- Marketing experience within a commercial real estate, construction, architecture, or engineering firm.
- Additional professional certifications and continued education (CPSM, etc).
