Key Responsibilities
- Manage domestic and international Freight Carrier relationships, including cost, quality, and service.
- Oversee regulatory issues related to the international supply chain, including import, export tariffs, and Customs Broker relationships.
- Collaborate with foreign locations to ensure efficient and effective distribution of products globally.
- Participate in strategic leadership initiatives and monitor performance levels, expenses, space, equipment, staffing, and overhead to meet annual budgetary plans.
- Develop and analyze key metrics for the distribution center and ensure established goals are met in performance, quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and budgetary planning.
- Implement changes to improve productivity and reduce costs; direct the establishment and implementation of distribution center standards.
- Maintain current knowledge of information and technology affecting functional areas and make recommendations to leadership as necessary.
- Partner with Directors of Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations to develop and implement best practices related to order flow management and lean operation principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 10 years of experience in Operations or Manufacturing roles.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- 5 years of supervisory experience.
- 5 years of finance management principles with budgeting.
- Deep expertise in efficient resource utilization, scheduling, unit production planning/forecasting, and supply chain.
- Willingness to be onsite 100%.
- Authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis.
