Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management, including monitoring expenses and revenue.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and regulations.
- Implement and manage office systems, including Dentrix software for scheduling, billing, and patient management.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
- Coordinate utilization management processes to optimize patient care while managing costs.
- Develop policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in office management within a dental or medical setting.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, financial management, and medical records management.
- Familiarity with JCAHO standards is preferred.
- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities with effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A background in critical care or utilization management is a plus.
