Role Summary
Capgemini is seeking a highly skilled Windows Compute Lead to manage and oversee Windows server infrastructure and virtualization environments. This onsite role in Fort Mill, SC, requires expertise in server management, virtualization, and advanced troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the Windows server infrastructure to ensure performance and reliability.
- Administer and maintain the Virtualization Environment using VMware ESXi.
- Provide advanced support and guidance for Citrix environments.
- Plan and manage server hardware, OS upgrades, software drivers, hardware firmware upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, RDS, failover clusters, and high availability systems.
- Analyze and resolve complex issues to minimize service interruptions and ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain broad knowledge of datacenter technologies, including networking, F5, Linux, and firewalls.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical systems, including occasional on-premises and weekend work.
- Lead large global teams in delivering Windows and virtualization services.
- Engage with client stakeholders to discuss team and technology performance, driving initiatives for improvement.
- Independently manage customer stakeholders through strategic discussions.
- Lead various tower initiatives, including automation, knowledge management, and risk management.
Required Skills
- Expertise in Windows server infrastructure and VMware ESXi.
- Advanced knowledge of Citrix environments and datacenter technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related systems.
- Experience in managing global teams and engaging with client stakeholders.
