About the Role
This is a strategic consulting opportunity for a results-oriented professional eager to evaluate and improve the efficiency and value of 211 directories—both locally in Franklin County and across the U.S. The role includes deep analysis of financial and operational models, exploring national best practices, and optimizing service delivery for maximum community impact.
Key Responsibilities
Phase 1 : Performance & Value Analysis (First 3 Months)
- Conduct a high-level assessment of the 211 competitive landscape and national best practices.
- Investigate why Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) may choose not to use or list their services in the 211 directory.
- Evaluate financial models, resource allocation, and operational requirements for maintaining 211 directories.
- Assess organizational incentives and barriers for contributing to a unified 211 directory versus maintaining independent systems.
- Deliver an executive summary of findings based on a comprehensive literature review and stakeholder engagement.
Phase 2 : Extended Analysis & Strategic Planning (Potential Extension)
