Vice President Of Sales is expected to represent the company in the most professional way possible. They teach, coach, and develop leaders for the future while making decisions to keep the company's interests first. Leaders are expected to create a productive work environment and are responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities within their location. Management is expected to recruit and develop a sales team as well as provide leadership towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in-line with the company's values and vision.

The VP Of Sales will work directly with Smart Connect sales team which will ensure that they are equipped with all the knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve extraordinary results.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for outlining a comprehensive recruiting and training program for store
managers to follow.

2. Monitor the P&L reports for each store and develop effective ways to fill in any gaps
between actual performance and company projections.

3. Prioritize store performance issues to make certain that the issues most directly
affecting profitability are addressed first.

4. Immediately address any lapses in compliance with corporate policies or local, state,
and federal laws.

5. Act as a coach to the store managers and as a resource to each store employee to help
inspire the success of each store.

6. Act as a liaison between the headquarters and the area’s branches by making regular
visits and interacting with management.

7. Oversee operational practices making sure that each branch runs smoothly and
meets projected revenues and sales estimates.

9. Ensure that each branch delivers value and excellence to the clients.

10. Cultivate and grow a strong team of committed branch managers that will maintain
profit margins and implement business plan.

11. Ensure that all projects are executed profitably and in compliance to standardised
business practices.

12. Apply innovative approaches and techniques to keep updated with competition.

The VP Of Sales has experience in a retail sales environment and can identify gaps in behaviours and work directly with the team for improvement.

The VP Of Sales works directly with the market leadership on the strategic development of the store to positively impact profit, people, and processes.

The VP Of Sales must have competencies in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, relationship building, influencing and talent management.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work at least 50-hour work weeks.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Establish and monitor store work schedules.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse sales and commission reports.
  • Train, motivate and inspire a team to achieve maximum results.
  • Always ensure audit compliance as required by the carrier.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience with Sprint, AT&T, Verizon highly preferred - not required.
  • College Degree Preferred, High School Diploma, or GED Required
  • This position supports a retail sales organization so weekend hours and travel may be required.
  • Ability to travel.
