Job Title : Big Data Software Engineer

Location : Iselin, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration : 06 Months

Start Date : ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.
  • Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications :

  • 5 years of application development and implementation experience using Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Python / Scala.
  • Strong Experience in T-SQL Development such as complex stored procedures, data load, views.
  • Design and develop ETL to move data from various sources preferably from Flat files, JSON, Oracle and experience with FTP, NDM
  • Experience in writing AUTOSYS JIL (Job Information Language) Commands
  • Deployment of Database components from lower environment to UAT / Production environment
  • 3 years of experience with Agile tools

    • Desired qualifications :

  • 3 years of experience designing and implementing process solutions for automation
  • 3 years of build-deploy automation and configuration experience
  • 3 years of Advanced SQL & Data Development experience
  • 1 year of experience with DevOps environments
  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • A BS / BA degree or higher in Information technology / Computer Science / Mathematics
