Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting with the technology planning, delivery and embedding of a new third-party Trade Surveillance solution in US/EMEA.
- Able to leverage expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets.
- Will include covering tactical enhancements to existing solutions and rationalization of the trade surveillance estate, there may also be opportunities to work across other surveillance solutions.
- Contribute to vendor management and liaise with vendor staff located in the US and UK.
- Scope of this role will be focused on EMEA deployment but the system will be rolled out globally and so the role will also require understanding and factor in global requirements.
- Must ensure that the project complies with all company policies regarding the management of third-party solutions, Information Security and the Software Development Lifecycle.

- Able to write Advanced SQL & Stored Procs in Hadoop/HIVE environment (required)
- Experience with Data Analysis, Business Analysis, and Data Mapping
- Broad experience in technology delivery (required)
- Expertise with relevant international regulations such as MAD/MAR and the regulatory environment within capital markets (required)
- Banking, Compliance experience and good understanding of Trade Life cycle (required)
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies (required)
- Experience with Spark, Scala, Python, ETL (preferred)
- Experience with Implementation of third-party and cloud-hosted solutions
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal. Will be coordinating with other teams.
