Key Responsibilities
- Manage/co-ordinate the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including drafting evaluation criteria, contract terms, and RFP format, in collaboration with VSP procurement staff.
- Assist VSP IT Division staff with vendor queries, vendor evaluation process, and contract negotiations.
- Direct Business Analysts to ensure project objectives and requirements are fully defined.
- Oversee vendor efforts in design, development, and implementation of solutions.
- Identify, analyze, track, and recommend actions on project issues and risks.
- Provide direction to vendors regarding interfaces with existing VSP and non-agency systems.
- 10 years of experience in project management with a PMP Certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects lasting 6 to 12 months with small teams.
- Experience in process optimization, best practices, change management, facilitation, and consulting.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, and presentation skills.
- Extensive knowledge of applications development.
- Documented experience in managing high-risk projects.
- Completion of a high-value project as the PM of record.
