Job Description:
- Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and systems within the healthcare domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop and maintain detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure that technical solutions align with business needs and requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to discuss and refine business requirements.
- Create and maintain project documentation, including business process diagrams, data flow diagrams, and system documentation.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments to identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed solutions.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring that delivered solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Provide ongoing support to stakeholders, including troubleshooting issues, addressing concerns, and providing training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare domain.
- Strong understanding of healthcare processes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management.
- Experience with healthcare information systems, electronic health records (EHR), and health information exchange (HIE).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or healthcare (e.g., CPHIMS, RHIA).
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
- Knowledge of data analytics and reporting tools.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
