Job Summary

The Perioperative Business Manager oversees the business operations of Surgical and Perioperative Services. Reporting to the Director of IntraOperative Services, this role focuses on financial management, supply chain efficiency, revenue optimization, and business development. The position requires collaboration with surgical leadership, finance, materials management, and IT to ensure operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor capital budgets and financial reports.
• Ensure accurate charge capture and expense tracking.
• Manage surgical inventory, equipment procurement, and supply chain processes.
• Supervise Case Cart staff and establish performance goals.
• Oversee compliance of sales representatives and vendor management.
• Co-chair the Surgical Value Analysis Team (SVAT) and coordinate vendor evaluations.
• Participate in key hospital committees and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Management, or related field preferred; OR Associate degree with 3-5 years of healthcare experience.
• Experience: 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in surgical services or healthcare finance.
• Skills: Strong financial analysis, inventory management, and leadership abilities.
