UR Case Manager/Care Coordinator (Remote)

  • Shift Information: 8-hour varied shifts starting at 8 AM (may fluctuate to meet department needs).
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay Rate: $75/hour
  • Overtime Rate: $85/hour (overtime applies after 40 hours per week)
  • Holiday/Callback Rate: $85/hour
  • Weekly Gross Pay: $3,000 based on 40 hours

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible UR Case Manager/Care Coordinator with Inpatient/Acute Care Experience to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and have the ability to adapt to fluctuating departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inpatient utilization reviews and coordinate patient care efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain compliance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Float within the assigned facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles, as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Experience:
  • Minimum of 12 months of recent Inpatient/Acute Care experience required.
  • At least one prior 13-week travel assignment is required.
  • Two years of current experience in the specialty is mandatory.
  1. Certifications:
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross is required.
  1. Technical Skills:
  • Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
  • Familiarity with Xsolis is preferred.
  1. Other Requirements:
  • Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (straight-line radius). Local travelers are not eligible.
  • Must provide two professional references (one from the current manager), an updated resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment during the initial submission.
  • Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of submission for consideration.

Additional Information:

  • Orientation:
  • Scheduled during the 1st week of the contract and will not exceed 40 total hours.
  • Includes EPIC training and is required to be in person. No exceptions.
  • Scrubs:
  • Scrubs are required but will not be provided by the facility.
  • Travelers are required to rotate weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules

Salary : $75 - $3,000
