Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible UR Case Manager/Care Coordinator with Inpatient/Acute Care Experience to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and have the ability to adapt to fluctuating departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient utilization reviews and coordinate patient care efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with established guidelines and protocols.
- Float within the assigned facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles, as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum of 12 months of recent Inpatient/Acute Care experience required.
- At least one prior 13-week travel assignment is required.
- Two years of current experience in the specialty is mandatory.
- Certifications:
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross is required.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with EPIC EMR is required.
- Familiarity with Xsolis is preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Must reside at least 75 miles away from the facility (straight-line radius). Local travelers are not eligible.
- Must provide two professional references (one from the current manager), an updated resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment during the initial submission.
- Any time-off requests must be disclosed at the time of submission for consideration.
Additional Information:
- Orientation:
- Scheduled during the 1st week of the contract and will not exceed 40 total hours.
- Includes EPIC training and is required to be in person. No exceptions.
- Scrubs:
- Scrubs are required but will not be provided by the facility.
- Travelers are required to rotate weekends and holidays as needed.
- Traveling pairs are not guaranteed the same schedules
